| Luke shares a little info with us…..’Shawna & Kevin live just outside of Columbus, Ohio. My wife grew up in Ohio (though she was born in California) and her brother lives in Columbus, so I was able to meet with Shawna & Kevin for the first time while visiting my wife’s family last summer. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but with the sole exception of my roots as a Penn State fan (and subsequent respectful dislike for Ohio State) I have come to love the Ohio country-side, and I relish every single trip I take to Ohio when we visit with my wife’s family in Columbus and Lima. So needless to say, I felt an immediate connection with Shawna and Kevin before we even met.
Shawna & Kevin were initially planning on eloping in Old Town Alexandria and then spending their honeymoon in Washington, DC. At the time I was still living in DC, which is how they initially found me. As time went on, they changed their plans and my wife and I relocated to Baltimore. A few months later, Shawna emailed me out of the blue to inform me that they wanted to get married in Baltimore since they decided to go on a cruise based out of Inner Harbor immediately following the ceremony. So I was elated that our paths had once again crossed. They had a short and quiet ceremony on top of Federal Hill in Baltimore and then we took a few photos in the surrounding area. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed our short time together. Shawna and Kevin are obviously in love and it showed in their pictures!’ |
