FRIDAY FLOWERS – PEONY INSPIRED

So what do you do when you get a call from the awesome folks at Fifty Flowers on a Wednesday morning letting me know that they want to send me a few stems….a few being 50, of beautiful peonies for a ‘peony inspired’ photo shoot…and let’s keep in mind that I’m working at the full-time job on Wednesday and Thursday and luckily, I was scheduled to be off on Friday. 

First thing to do, secure the photographer…I called the AMAZINGLY talented and super sweet, Larura Gordon.  Thankfully, Laura was available and was happy to help me out and did I mention, we had never met before, you would have never known this, as soon as she arrived at the door it was hugs and screams and laughter until she left!

Next, I needed a model, actually, I needed a model with great hair because I wouldn’t have time to get a makeup/hair person for the shoot.  Who do I call, my girl Tori of Marvelous Things Photography.  Not only is Tori a great photographer, she’s gorgeous and has the best hair to model floral crowns!

Okay, now I need a dress for Tori to wear for the shoot…no worries, got it covered.  Called my sweet friend Elizabeth at Richmond Bella Bridesmaid and told her a little bit of info about the shoot and she comes over on Friday morning with two beautiful Dolly Pearl dresses….Elizabeth ROCKS!!

So, today I’m sharing a few images with you on the outcome of our ‘peony inspired’ shoot…lots of pretty floral crowns, a gorgeous bouquet and a couple of centerpieces….this is what happens with about a 24 hour notice…great friends and pretty flowers….I can only imagine the magic we can all make with just a little bit more time….Enjoy….xoxo
