REAL NY WEDDING: ERIKO & TOMOHIKO

Happy Friday Guys….Meet Eriko & Tomohiko…their lovely and intimate wedding story was sent to me by the ever so talented and oh-so-sweet, Stacey Ilyse….I had the opportunity to meet Stacey in NY in April and she is such a sweet heart!!  Well let’s check out all the magic that Stacey made in the gorgeous images and she shares all the ‘411’ with us…..Enjoy!

Wedding Date:  May 23, 2009…….Location:  Central Park on the grass near Bow Bridge

Tomohiko and Eriko, originally from Japan decided on a whim (about a week before) that they wanted to get married in NYC prior to their departure after a 6 month stay here.  They love NY and did not want to go back home to Japan and have to have a large, traditional wedding… so they called up a few of their closest friends from both NY and Japan and put the wedding together.

Eriko wore an off white silk shaffon dress from BCBG and Tomohiko work a suit that he already owned from Japan.  Eriko had a bouquet of pink-ish white peonies and peach roses  as well as one peonie in her hair.

They invited eleven guests and one dog to the ceremony, which was officiated by Alma Daniels in the park, as part of Alma’s tradition she always puts together a copy of the ceremony for the couple to keep and gives it to them after the ceremony… afterwards Eriko and Tomohiko decided on an intimate brunch at home with their friends to celebrate their marriage.

Thanks SO much for stopping by Stacey…….your work is ALWAYS ‘picture perfect’….guys, make sure you check out Stacey’s site  to see more of her beautiful work…..and to Eriko & Tomohiko, we wish you a lifetime of love and joy!
