REAL CALIFORNIA WEDDING: CARLY & CHIP
| Say hello to Carly & Chip…..their wedding is so beautiful and the images are gorgeous…they are a beautiful couple and their wedding is filled with lots of pretty details and I’m so loving the bridesmaids dresses! Their wedding story took place at Barndiva….such a lovely venue and their day was captured by the beautiful and oh-so-talented Leah McCormick of Photography by Leah. Leah’s work is simply STUNNING….this is her first visit at the cafe so let’s make her feel right at home……Enjoy! |

| Carly shares a little info with us…..’we had a 5k wedding fun run the morning of which was really nice b/c it gave me a chance to chat with my girlfriends about unrelated stuff and also it was nice to go on a run the morning of. Our whole ceremony was seriously one of my favorite moments- we had my grandfather marry us (who’s 81 yrs old) and we wrote the entire ceremony ourselves.
Chip’s aunt read his favorite poem- The Road Not Taken and we had my brother and two of his friends perform a song by Ingrid Michaelson called The way i am. We each wrote our own vows which I think just made the whole experience that much more intimate. I also loved the touch of the homemade cookies. Our whole wedding was just like a really fun party with all of our favorite people present. We were up that night until 5am celebrating and being that we never stay up that late, that says something about how fun it was.’ |

| ‘Suzanne Ermann (a Parisian designer) was the dress designer. I bought the dress at the most fabulous bridal gown shop in Atlanta, Georgia (where I grew up) called Kelly’s Closet. The shoes were by Miu Miu and the purse I am holding is one of my mom’s from a few decades back. I wore borrowed diamond earrings from my step-grandmother. I also wore a fresh flower in my hair. Also my engagement ring and wedding band were made by an Atlanta-based jeweler, Victoria Greenhood. |

| ‘We named out tables after the most influential bands of each decade (Chip loves music) so our table names were: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Madonna, and Pearl Jam.’ |
