NEW YORK ENGAGEMENT SESSION – CHARLI & GIBRAN

Happy Saturday Everyone….let’s take a trip ‘Back Down Memory Lane’ with the fun e-session of Charli & Gibran….one of my favorite e-sessions and couples from last year…Charli & Gibran are married now and Charli writes the cutest blog called Man Wife Dog…make sure you check it out!

{First featured June 2010}….I received the sweetest email from our beautiful cafe reader, Charli…..she shared with me how much she loved stopping by the cafe each day and that she would love to share her and Gibran’s, (hubby-to-be), engagement session with us…..I’m so happy that she did….Charli & Gibran are so cute and so in love….you can totally see it in the images…I love how playful they are and capturing all the fun is one of the cafe’s favorite photographers and favorite ladies…Diana of Di Bezi Photography….let’s check out all the fun and Charli shares a little info with us…it’s such a cute story…..Enjoy!!

‘We’ve been together for seven years and to this day our friends still tell us to ‘get a room’ or ‘stop being so mushy’. We’re truly just best friends who are so in love and we like to think we take soul mates to a new level. We’d be lost without each other. Because of how crazy in love we are we decided to make the theme of our wedding ‘love’.

SO we went with that inspiration for the e-shoot too. When we met we fell in love while taking walks along the Jersey waterfront, so we decided going back there would really bring out our best. Since those days we had a new addition to our family — Karma, our Yorkie — so, we of course, felt like it wouldn’t be a family photo without her in it. Besides, since photography is a little side hobby of mine she’s used to the camera so we knew she’d work well with Diana. And, boy did she! We had a blast!

Our favorite shots are the ones where we watched each other dance and sang along against the concrete wall at the Hoboken train station, and the ones where we just vegged out in the grass on the waterfront with the NYC skyline in the back. That moment was just so us. A happy family of three. Karma will also be our dog of honor by the way!’

Charli, thank you so much for being a fan of the cafe….I love knowing that you find inspiration each day while planning your special day…..Diana, it’s always a pleasure having you stop by…we look forward to your next visit …..guys, head over to Di Bezi Photography and check out Diana’s latest work!
