ROYAL WEDDING INSPIRED SHOOT

Today’s the day….the beautiful wedding of Kate and William….everyone is so excited and it’s going to be an AMAZING day with all the beautiful ‘Royal Wedding’ inspiration in honor of their wedding day…..Courtenay Lambert of Courtenay Lambert Florals sent over a beautiful ‘Royal Wedding’ inspired shoot to share with us today. Courtenay’s floral designs are simply gorgeous…truly ‘fit for a princess’ and she is such a sweet heart….I had the pleasure of meeting her a few months ago and she’s such a beautiful lady, inside and out! Courtenay had the serious ‘Dream Team‘ helping her make this elegant ‘Royal Wedding’ inspired shoot come together….Kristen Kloth of Tres Chic Event Planning, the beautiful cake was designed by Ileana Saldivia of Sugar Realm, Beth Brigger of All Occasion Event Rental, invitations by Kristen Folzenlogen of Poeme, Amy Rubenstein from Sibcy Cline Realtor made it possible for the shoot to take place in one of her gorgeous homes that was on the market for sale….the owners were thrilled to let them shoot there….and capturing all the beauty is Kortnee Miller of Kortnee Kate Photography. | Courtenay shares a little info with us on the design….’Gold, Saphire, Champagne, Creams, and Ivories were the thought behind the shoot. Add to that the opulence of the crystals and jewels to lend it a very royal feel. Mixing the traditional with modern in the cake (the color of the cake with the feather kind of mimicks a feather hat that Kate has been readily photographed in) Ileana from Sugar Realm included cameos handmade out of sugar on both the cake and at each place setting to lend a very nostalgic traditional feel.
Each place setting includes a gold satin napkin wrapped with navy Swiss satin ribbon and bejeweled with a vintage brooch. We used authentic vintage tea cups at each place setting and in different colors to lend a litte color interest to the table. The flowers include ivory Hydrangea, Sahara Roses, Chablis Sprays, and white Peonies in the bouquet.’ |
