PRETTY SUMMER BLOOMS FROM THE FARMER’S MARKET

Happy Wednesday Guys….last week Steve and I stopped by the local Farmer’s Market….OMG…the place to be for beautiful summer blooms….the one flower that I was looking for were zinnias…my mom used to grow these…..so many fun memories of her flower garden….so, of course I had to purchase a few bundles. I love all the bright and vibrant colors and I love their little imperfections!

Flowers from the Farmer’s Market are perfect for your home and also for a bride planning a DIY wedding.  The flowers that I purchased were $13.00 per bouquet and there were about 10-15 stems in each bouquet….and I have to share with you that I still have all of these pretty blooms in my home and they all still look beautiful!  These flowers were from Amy’s Garden…she’s at the local market twice a week and her flowers are truly GORGEOUS!

So, my girlfriend Jennifer came over last Thursday and we put together this lovely floral feature to share with you today…capturing all the floral beauty is one of my favorite photographers and ladies…Katelyn James of Katelyn James Photography……Katelyn’s work is always so pretty and I love the fact that she lives about 15 minutes from me…..thanks Katelyn!……let’s check out all the pretty blooms……Enjoy!!

My friend Anne brought over her mother’s and grandmother’s place settings and silverwear…all so beautiful!

Don’t you just love the beautiful texture of the celosia…aka…cock’s comb….and the purple lisianthus is another favorite of mine and check out the buds of gomphrena…such a pretty filler!

And I couldn’t do the shoot and not have a bouquet…the ornamental cabbage and the dahlias are from Whole Foods….another great place to purchase florals for the home and for the bride with a DIY wedding!

I hope you enjoyed these pretty summer blooms…we have more fun floral shoots lined up for you…I can’t wait to share them with you….xoxo
