LAUREN NAPIER – ‘BRIDESMAID BEAUTY’
We are starting the day off with our beautiful friend and makeup artist extraordinaire, Lauren Napier of Lauren Napier Weddings….Lauren is taking a few minutes out of her busy schedule to share a few amazing makeup tips to share with all the bridesmaids today…let’s see what fun tips Lauren has for us….Enjoy!!
‘Calling all bridesmaids! You’ve made it through the season without expanding your dress size, won the impossible mission and found the matching shoes, selected the perfect nail polish color that doesn’t clash with your bouquet. So what’s next? Covering the tan-lines that you got during the bachelorette party weekend. Go for a head to toe golden goddess look, it will eliminate the tan-lines and make you look like the ‘hot bridesmaid’ at the wedding.Begin with your makeup; apply a concealer one shade lighter than your foundation throughout the eye area, high plains of the face and the cheekbones. Apply liquid foundation with a moistened sponge in a stippling motion then blend outward toward the hairline, temple and chin. Lightly powder with a shimmering blush or bronzer. Be sure to blend the face, and down into the jawbone and neck for the perfect bronze look. * Remember to hydrate, makeup always glides onto hydrated skin more smoothly. Use a blend, 3 parts foundation and 1 part bronzer to create an even bronzed skin tone throughout your neck, chest upward into the jawbone. Buff your custom blend foundation onto the skin with a short haired buffer makeup brush. Powder your foundation blend with a loose translucent powder to ensure a smudge proof bronzed bod. Will you be a bronzed goddess at your best friend’s wedding?‘ |
