Happy Wednesday Guys….we have lots of fun and beautiful features for you today…let’s get things started with the fun and oh-so-sweet engagement session of Ashley & Kevin…Ashley is the BFF of a former cafe bride and I was so excited to hear from the both of them, letting me know about Ashley & Kevin’s beautiful engagement session…they are the cutest couple and they looked as though they were having so much fun and capturing it all is their AMAZING photographer, Tamara of Silver Thumb Photography….Tamara’s work is so lovely and this is her first time stopping by the cafe so let’s show her some serious cafe love….you can also check out Ashley & Kevin’s e-session over at Essence Magazine On-line….Enjoy!!

Ashley shares a little info with us……
‘Though Kevin grew up oceans away on the island of Guam and I grew up in New York, fate luckily had us meet in the mitten state at the University of Michigan. After five years of friendship, two years of being co-workers, and an accidental date, our romance began! Kevin popped the question on a quiet spring morning just one day after our dear friends Justin and Rhona got married. I was (and still am) ecstatic! Since we both decided to continue our education at UM where he is currently a fourth year medical student and I’m working on my MSW, we naturally decided to have our engagement photos in Ann Arbor. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to have such an amazing photographer, Tamara capture our love at all our favorite places! It’s been truly a blessing to find such a wonderful man to share my life with and I can’t wait until our wedding on May 12, 2012 (just one day after he graduates!!!). ‘
