Our beautiful bride Khanh shares their love story with us…’Although Ryan and I had many friends in common, we never officially met until our senior year of college at Penn State University. It was a Thursday night and we each tagged along with our group of friends to the bars which was very unlike us. Since neither of us are big drinkers, it was very unusual for both of us to be out at the bars on a week day. I spotted Ryan across the bar and convinced my roommate to introduce him to me. We totally hit it off, and our relationship quickly developed. Ryan was completely different than any guy I had ever met or dated. Shortly after meeting Ryan, I knew he was “the one” because I wanted him to meet my parents. It was important to me that my parents be a part of our relationship from the start. My traditional Vietnamese parents always stressed “school first” and were convinced that dating boys was an unnecessary distraction. So the fact that I wanted them to meet him was a huge sign to me that this relationship was different than the others I had had in the past.’ |

‘Choosing our wedding venue was one of the easiest decisions we made. Historic Whitehall Manor in Leesburg, Virginia reminded us both of our quiet and quaint hometowns. Despite the overcast sky on our wedding day, we had a gorgeous ceremony outside, fringed with the beautiful fall colors. Ryan’s uncle conducted the ceremony and his two younger sisters sang. The rain held off until everyone moved inside the manor for cocktails and the reception.’ |
