RACHEL & ANDREW’S DIY WEDDING

Happy Monday Guys and let’s start the day with Rachel & Andrew’s sweet DIY wedding…now when I say DIY Wedding, I truly mean DIY…Rachel shares their list of DIY projects:

(1)…ceremony altar made with grandfather’s custom made walnut and pine table along with fabric and flowers
(2)…3,000 cranes to fill the space
(3)…centerpieces were made out of cranes and twigs found in my parents’ backyard and skewers along with buttons, burlap fabric, silk flowers and scrapbook papers
(4)…men’s boutonnieres-made out of fabric, buttons, and silk flowers
(5)…wedding signs made out of old paned windows and paint (made by my handy husband!)

WOW, 3,000 cranes…..Rachel & Andrew were on a mission and it was all worth it…their wedding was simply beautiful and capturing it all is the AMAZINGLY talented and oh-so-sweet, Bethany of Bethany Wares Photograhy…let’s check out all the beautiful images sent over by Bethany…..Enjoy!!

From Rachel…….’Our inspiration: Cranes-Japanese wedding culture 1,000 cranes= 1,000 years of happy marriage and love. We love the fast paced city life but we love big trees and old buildings.  My favorite memory of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing my husband and the sun up against my face.  My advice to brides…. keep your perspective of the day as a celebration and culmination of life and every season of life. Make real, genuine and honest. You will have fun!’

Thanks so much Bethany for stopping by today….we look forward to your next visit and to Rachel & Andrew, we wish you a lifetime filled with happiness and love.
