BOUQUET FRIDAY: BOUTONNIERES FOR THE GENTS!
Happy Friday All….I hope you are ready for a fun weekend…..it’s ‘Bouquet Friday’ at the cafe and today it’s all about the gentlemen…….it’s all about the bouts!! Boutonnieres have come a long way…I can remember when most bouts consisted of a carnation or a huge rose and baby’s breath and it was always wrapped with floral tape.
Today, I share with you a mix of bouts I made with succulents, ranunculus, tea roses, billy balls, dusty miller and lambs ear and I wrapped them all in ribbon. Presentation is always so key to me when I’m delivering the flowers at a wedding…..not only do I want to make my brides happy, I also want the photographer to get great shots. For this particular event, I lined a silver tray with moss and placed the bouts on top. Once the photographer takes a few images, I simply place the bouts with the moss in a container that I have prepared. |
