BOUQUET FRIDAY – DAHLIAS AND GARDEN ROSES
Happy Friday Lovelies…I thought it would be sweet to end the week with a couple of pretty bouquets that I designed for a recent wedding…I so wish that I could share the bride and groom with you, but, they are very private and I totally respect that, so, I’ll be sharing the bride and bridesmaid’s bouquets….Elizabeth, the lovely bride, wanted to have a lush bouquet with a romantic feel…the ingredients….
cafe au leit dahlias, burgundy dahlias, dusty miller, white astilbe, orange ranunculus, hot pink ranunculus, anemones, and wraped in soft pink satin ribbon from midori
Capturing all the pretty florals is my girl and she’s one AMAZING photographer, Amelia Johnson of Amelia Johnson Photography….I adore Amelia…she’s a total sweetheart! |

The bride is actually holding her bouquet in this image and in the background there was a beautiful trellis filled with ivy and holiday lights, so, I added a mix of pretty blooms to give it a ‘romantic feel’…..this is where the couple stood for the ceremony!

And here is the bridesmaid bouquet…the bride wanted it similar to her bouquet…so, I added queens anne’s lace and scented geranium leaves and there weren’t any garden roses in this bouquet…(garden roses onlly for the bride)….I wrapped the handle with twine and added three pearl pins!

Whenever I deliver my bouquets to the bride and bridal party, I always like to make it a very special presentation….after all, the bride’s bouquet is totally the most important floral design of the day…and, I’m always thinking of a great shot for the photographer….for this bride, I place the bouquets in my Pomme Picking Basket from Arhaus….I love going into Arhaus…one of my favorite stores!

Let’s not forget the guys…here are a few bouts I designed for the gents…I actually only needed to design a couple of bouts, but I always like to design extras just in case one of the guys will need a new one during the course of the wedding!
