BRANDI & VIPUL’S BEAUTIFUL WEDDING STORY

Say hello to Brandi & Vipul….you are going to love their wedding story….filled with so many beautiful details and tradition….they are a beautiful couple and you can truly see the love between them….their wedding is simply GORGEOUS!….and it was so sweet to see that Brandi found so many of her wedding ‘vendors’ on Etsy…(don’t you just love Etsy)!

Their wedding story was captured by the oh-so-sweet and talented Lisa Rigby of Lisa Rigby Photography….Lisa comes to us from the Boston area and her work is truly STUNNING…..she shares a little info with us and the images are totally ‘picture perfect’…let’s get started with Part One…..Enjoy!!

From Lisa………’The wedding ceremony took place on a very hot day at  Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island. The couple and their friends made the fabric bench covers and program fans. Aisle, candle flowers and tossed flowers by Flowering Tree Botanicals on Etsy. Ganesh Elephant by Victoria’s Art Gallery.

Blume Bloom on Etsy created the hair fascinator, to which Brandi added some custom details. Earrings by Brigite.

Brandi’s henna was done by Henna by Heather.

‘The festivities began with the Groom’s Procession. Being in Rhode Island, they couldn’t have the traditional elephant to carry Vipul. Instead, the groom entered on a bicycle pedicab decorated with flowers and pedaled by a groomsman. Friends and family danced, spun and sang around him. What a joyful way to enter your wedding.’

‘As the wedding ceremony began, friends held an “antarpat” in front of Vipul. When Brandi and her parents came up the aisle, they raised the antarpat so that he couldn’t see her approaching.’

I LOVE Brandi’s dress…..check out all the details……..’Brandi worked with Val of Upoppy to design and create her wedding dress.’

‘Keeping with Hindu customs, the couple recited seven vows to each other as they circled the sacred fire. Brandi and Vipul’s first six vows were traditional Hindu vows, and they wrote the seventh vow.’

‘Brandi is Creole and from Mississippi, and the couple wanted to include some wedding traditions from her side of the family as well. They ended the ceremony by “jumping the broom.”

Now don’t you just love Brandi & Vipul’s beautiful wedding story….and check back later for Part II….the reception…..you don’t want to miss it…..thanks Lisa for sharing all of the beautiful images with us…we’ll be back in a few with more sweet inspiration from Lisa……xoxo
