Say hello to Alexis & Cole…and let me just warn you….I’ve posted a ton of images…..I just couldn’t help it…honestly, I could have done a feature totally on the images of Alexis & Cole…they are such a beautiful couple…you’ll see!! Their beautiful wedding story was sent over to me by their oh-so-amazing planner and event designer, Shayla Hawkins of Shayla Hawkins Events…I have had the pleasure of meeting Shayla and she’s the sweetest…I ADORE her and as you’ll see, she’s definitely one to call when planning your big day! Alexis & Cole’s ‘Breafast at Tiffany’s’ themed wedding is simply GORGEOUS and Alexis so reminds me of Audrey Hepburn…the dress…the hair…the makeup…all so lovely! Their wedding story was captured by the husband and wife team, Jonathan and Tiffany of Hot Metal Studio….their work is AWESOME….in a word…they ROCK!! | Shayla shares a little info with us…..’Alexis tied the knot with her fiancé Cole, in a’ Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ meets ‘City Chic’ kind-of way! Cole and Alexis’ love story came together when they both moved to Pittsburgh. As a native, Alexis came back to her old stumping grounds from Columbus, OH and Cole moved to start a new beginning from Lancaster, PA, hence the ‘Connected by the City of Bridges’ theme. If you know anything about Pittsburgh, you know it is known for its bridges, sports, language, and of course, the cookie table! No detail was left unturned in planning and designing from A to Z. From the ‘Pittsburgh-ese’ table names, to the Limoncello take-homes for guests (paying homage to their Italian roots), to the game day tickets aka escort cards, and the bridge-scape detailing all of their stationery. We absolutely LOVE how simple, modern elements fused with the fun pops of ‘Pittsburgh’ came together stylishly and translated beautifully.’ |
