COLOUR BOARD #12 – JODI & KURT’S WEDDING STYLE
Welcome back guys….if you are just joining us, please check out our beautiful DIY feature that was shown earlier today…..up now at the cafe is the beautiful inspiration board from my friends…my clients…yes, I’m so excited to be designing the florals for their fall wedding….and they are AMAZING photographers, Jodi & Kurt of Jodi Miller Photography. I met with Jodi & Kurt a couple of weeks ago and Jodi shared her inspiration boards with me…OMG…they were all so beautiful and I asked her to share one with us…well, Jodi sent one over and I hope you love it just as much as I do…I have to share with you that I’m SO happy to be working with Jodi & Kurt….so much fun!!
From Jodi…..’I created about five inspiration boards not only for myself, but also for my family and vendors involved in the wedding (like you!). I wanted them to see what Kurt and I are envisioning for our wedding…to convey our style in pictures 🙂 These inspiration boards were especially helpful for my family, as I needed someway to display all of the crazy and ambitious ideas I have for my wedding. For me, inspiration boards were an absolute necessity to really kick start the planning process and organize my ideas. For this particular board, I wanted to tack on a color palette. I had so many people ask us what our colors would be for our wedding, but I really couldn’t give them a straight forward answer, as I didn’t have specific colors in mind. With this board, I was able to draw colors from the images and actually come up with my color palette, which consists of soft, muted, vintage tones.’ |
