I’m so excited about our featured wedding today…Amber & ADee…they are such a gorgeous couple….we also featured their beautiful engagement session, so when I received the images from their wedding, I had to do my ‘happy dance’…their wedding was simply charming…a lovely DIY Backyard wedding and you can totally see all the love and happiness in the beautiful images. Their wedding story was captured by Rog and Lyndzee of EPlove Photography…Rog and Lyndzee’s work is AMAZING!…always ‘picture perfect’ and ‘magazine worthy’….and making sure every detail was ‘picture perfect’ is their AMAZING planner and floral designer, and she’s the sweetest lady, Therese Dozier of My Sorted Affair….and we’re sharing Amber & ADee’s beautiful wedding with our friends over at Essence Magazine On-line….let’s check out all the beautiful images….Enjoy!

Here’s a little info from Amber…….’our wedding theme was southern, comfy, homey deliciousness. even though neither of us are southern (i’m from minneapolis and he’s from santa monica) a.dee’s father was born in arkansas. the whole idea started with the food, my husband knew that he wanted to do comfort food (his favorite food to cook) and that food was the most important part of the wedding for him. he decided on southern food and from there we designed the theme around the food. family is also very important to both of us and we really wanted the wedding to feel like a big family gathering.

my fairy godmother,Aunt Shirley, made me a sash inspired by one that i saw on a vintage valentino dress that i loved (and was way to expensive). it was a nice way to incorporate my dream dress’

‘i wore a $12 brooch from j.crew in my hair. i had a romantic/lofty idea of finding the perfect one at a flea market or thrift store, but i grabbed it out of the impulse buy bin at j.crew when i was at the register checking out. it was perfect. hair stylist just stuck it in my hair with some bobby pins.’

Thanks so much to Rog and Lyndzee for sharing all the beautiful images with us today and a huge thanks to Therese for sharing Amber & ADee’s gorgeous wedding and engagement session with us….and to Amber & ADee, we wish you a lifetime filled with love and joy!
