DIY – CARNATION ESCORT CARD DISPLAY

It’s Throwback Thursday and I’m sharing a fun DIY project with you from a few years ago and it’s still a good one y’all!!

I’m sharing the latest DIY that my girl Tori of Tori Watson Photography and I created for Project Weddings…..I thought it would be fun to create a DIY with all carnations….I love carnations and they are truly making a major comeback!!….carnations are so beautiful when designed in mass quantities and they come in so many different colors…so don’t count them out as your wedding flower…..all the beautiful carnations used for our DIY Escort Card Display are from Fifty Flowers…..make sure you check them out…they are an excellent resource for all my DIY brides out there….have a great day everyone!!

Ingredients:

Carnations (I used a mix of different shades of pinks – carnations from Fifty Flowers)
Picture Frame
Foam Board
Pearl Pins
Duct Tape

Easel

Step 1. Place the frame over the foam board

Step 2: 
Starting with the sides, cut off the excess from the foam board


Step 3:  Once you have finished step #2, tape the foam board to the back of the picture frame with duct tape


Here’s the completed frame!


Step 4: Cut the stems off the carnations

Step 5:  Place the frame on the easel and insert the pearl pins through the middle of the carnation head and attach them to the board

The completed board….how colorful and so pretty!!

Final Step:  Attach the name card to the board with a pearl pin and there you have it!!  You can make the board as large or as small as you need…have fun!!
