| Hello beautiful people!
I’m Chelsie, a twenty-something floral designer working at Jackie’s Flowers in Northern California. I have grown up around flowers and studied design in college; I like to think of myself as the flower child! Being a florist myself, and the daughter of a florist as well, flowers have always been my life, they make me happy, make me smile; make me feel the love! Taking countless trips to market, picking through tid-bits at some of the best antique fairs and flea marts, drooling over glitter, soft French lace, sexy kitten heels and bold printed textiles, I have decided to create specialty duds for others who share my same style crushes. After purchasing my first ticket to the famed music festival Coachella, I instantly began playing with the idea of crafting crowns. At first, I just thought to make one for myself, I then realized that I could share my love for funky with others! Over the years, we have acquired quite the collection of vintage hat flowers, paper flowers, silks, you name it, that are all stored at the flower shop as some sort of a personal archive. So making one and only one for myself just started to sound selfish. So with ideas spilling from every inspirational image I saw, I decided to just do it. I launched my etsy site weeks later and named it after my blog To Fashion and Floral and decided to call my flower crowns Flower Child Hair Wreaths. I am so excited for this new endeavor and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do. Whether you are looking for accessories for festival season, casual reasons, or even a romantic bridal look, I want to do it all! Feel free to send me looks you would like to see in the store.
