| From Alicia……’My Husband and I were joined as one on October 9th 2011. It was one of the most beautiful times of our lives. We loved reliving that day by looking at our wonderful photos from the talented ubaraphoto. With our one year anniversary approaching, we knew that we wanted to celebrate in a unique way. We considered starting a family and if God allowed us, we wanted to celebrate and announce our new family in a special way.
We planned to have a family gathering to celebrate our ‘One Year Survival’. With such a wonderful photographer, we needed to have her photos play a big part in the decor for our party. Through the photos, we wanted to display our love, which is genuine, sweet and sophisticated all at the same time. After finding the perfect dress and dapper suit for hubby, we were ready for the camera. On the day of the shoot, we just let the love that we have for each other shine as bright as the sun did on that day. Thankfully and secretly, we later found out that we were expecting! We were only a few weeks pregnant during our anniversary shoot. For our 1 year anniversary party we were able to announce to our friends and family that we are expecting a bundle of joy in the summer of June 2013. We consider this a perfect way to celebrate our first year together.’
