THE IDEA: “We tell our client’s stories all year long and I wanted to celebrate our story as a team and thank the girls for all they do each day”. The evening was complete with signature cocktails, mindful table decor and of course a palette of Momental’s signature hand painted stationery.
THE INSPIRATION: The entire concept was inspired by LaTavola Linen’s stunningly textured fabric named Madeline Brown. The rustic damask pattern in shades of chocolate and tan exuded warmth but with an unconventional flair amidst classically inspired Holiday styling. THE DETAILS: Décor was centered on a saturated palette of colors with a fresh nod to tradition. Mustard, emerald and persimmon were the focus with small accents of ivory throughout. Small square floral arrangements included Sheet Moss, Boxwood, Green Tricks, Yellow Cymbidium Orchids and Red Serena Roses. I framed favorite photos from the past year and scattered the glossy white and silver glitter frames down the table’s center. Fresh moss, hand painted ornaments and candlelight all added texture and glow to the dinner table. Tiny cards on shimmering emerald stock called out words like laughs, re-define and change, all abstractly painted with gold dots in meaningful patterns. Tucked along the table runner laden with photos, moss and ornaments, these words became art as reminder of this tight-knit group’s growth over the past year. The gifts were wrapped in Kraft paper and tied with ivory velvet ribbon and vintage brooches. Small tags were handwritten on a blingy mustard stock for a pop of color and sheen. White poinsettias individually hand painted on personal notes from me transformed paper into keepsake. Matte brown papers played perfectly against the hand painted brushstrokes of creamy white, blush, gold and olive green inks. Isabella Restaurant and Bar crafted a varied three course menu to include Seared Scallops with Homemade Gnocchi, Lobster Mac and Cheese with Truffle Oil, Jager Schnitzel, Steak Frites and Lobster All’ Amatriciana. A sweet and fun wrap to the dinner came in the form of freshly made Root Beer floats featuring a Pennsylvania favorite: Lion’s Head Ale Root Beer. (http://www.lionbrewery.com/) The night would not be complete without some silly time in front of the camera…this group is never short of laughs and a little bit of craziness.’ |
