PIPPIN HILL FARM WEDDING – CAT THRASHER PHOTOGRAPHY
| In a couple of weeks, I have a wedding in Charlottesville, VA…I love visiting Charlottesville and I’m excited to be going back to design the flowers for my clients….and to get me in the ‘mood’, I’m excited to share the lovely work of one of my favorite photographers from the Charlottesville area, Cat Thrasher Photography, Cat’s work is always so beautiful and I hope to get to work with her one day soon….Cat sent over the beautiful images from Jessica & Matt’s wedding story…..they are such a cute couple and I love the venue, Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard…simply gorgeous….Enjoy!! |

| Cat shares a little info with us……’Jessica & Matt were married at Pippin Hill Farm, just south of Charlottesville, on a gorgeous day in late April. They had an intimate wedding, with a ceremony overlooking the Blue Ridge, and a reception in the Tasting Room. As the sun began setting, we shot a series of portraits in front of the new, young, budding vines at Pippin, and how fitting: they’re expecting their own little budding infant within the year! The excitement and potential energy, between the wedding and the expected baby, was so positive and uplifting throughout the evening that I could not stop tearing up the entire time!
As the sun became horizontal and dramatic on its way behind the mountains, it flooded into the Tasting Room at Pippin and lit up the guests milling about before dinner. It was the final note of a wedding that was full of things indicating life: the strong, full sun, the growing vines, the rolling Appalachian mountains, the wonderful food and wine flowing, and the family of the bride & groom, celebrating two new beginnings.’ |
