| One of my favorite people on the planet is Kristin Brancaleone of The Treasured Petal….Kristin’s floral designs are simply gorgeous and she is the sweetest person…I truly adore her and whenever there’s an email from her in my inbox, I know it’s ALWAYS going to be something very pretty attached….and I’m so excited to share this pretty wedding with you…Hanna & Richard’s wedding is just too charming…I love it…and their wedding story was captured by Michael Chan of The Image Is Found….Michael’s work is always so beautiful and always ‘picture perfect’
Kristin did an AMAZIING job with the florals and she shares a little info with us….Enjoy!! ‘Hanna and Richard are college-mates of mine from Berkeley, which made this wedding extra special for me. Their casual lunchtime wedding was feminine and soft, with a little bit of old fashioned flair. Ivy and vines, fresh apples on the stem (which I picked myself from a friend’s yard!), rose hips and berries added texture and playfulness to the florals. The venue, Rancho Capistrano, is gorgeous and reflects the rustic Spanish feel of Socal perfectly.I love the way American and Korean traditions were blended in this wedding. I always get teary eyed when the couple takes time to honor their parents in the middle of the ceremony. In every image you can just see the joy and youthfulness of this sweet couple!’ |
