| Jenn shares a little info on all the DIY projects…..’I did all the planning!! It was like my summer job.Used old mailbox for card holder and had lil cousin, Emily paint it…….Used Spaghetti jars and raffia for flowers vases. My family and I ate spaghetti every week!!! My mom and aunt cleaned and wrapped jars for months before the wedding. Hand calligraphied all 100 invitations……Bought vintage bud vases and picture frames from local thrift stores………David’s Grandma made our cupcakes. We practiced tasting them until they were just right! Made sign in book using pics from my amazing engagement shoot (from my favorite photograher)’ |

| Jenn shares a little advice to future brides……’Look for vendors and talk with people who share your vision and style. When I talked to certain people about having a vintage inspired wedding, I got some weird looks when I mentioned spaghetti jars for vases and old books for center pieces. There were other people who understood my vision and got so excited to be apart of that vision. Dave and I are so glad that we had a wedding that fit our style and feel and that we really got to enjoy the entire day. Also….invest in those pictures and videos. It’s really the only tangible thing you have at the end of the wedding day.’ |
