REAL {LAKE SUPERIOR} WEDDING – MALIA & JARED

Happy Monday Guys…we have lots of beautiful inspiration to share with you this week…let’s start it off with the lovely wedding story of Malia & Jared….beautiful bride…handsome groom…awesome location…gorgeous reception decor….and they only invited twenty-one of their closest friends and family…I love it!!….capturing all the gorgeous details is one of my favorite ladies and AWESOME photographers, Shanni Weilert of What Shanni Saw…I was so excited and happy to hear from Shanni…it’s been way too long since she stopped by the cafe…so let’s not wait a minute longer….let’s check out all the beautiful images captured by Shanni….Enjoy!!

Shanni shares a little info with us…..’Being all the way from California, I have to say I was completely overcome with the beauty, peace, and extreme class at this lakefront wedding.  Malia and Jared wanted everything about their day to be 100% their own.

They only invited 21 of their closest friends and family to be part of this destination affair.  The color of the day that was chosen was white- and there was not flower, seat, tent, or chandelier that did not exude this color.  Even the confetti cannon at the announcement of them being husband and wife spit out white confetti everywhere.

The wedding ceremony was held on the deck of the barn overlooking Lake Superior, with the dinner reception in the spectacular white tent brought in for the occasion.  There was a seven course meal that took over the entire evening.  They opted to not do any traditional dancing, cake cutting (they instead opted for gourmet donuts to dip in chocolate sauce…yum!), or reception activities and chose instead to spend more intimate time with the people they hold dearest to them.  I absolutely loved the fact that they chose to have everything about the day reflect them as a couple and what they love.’

I’m loving all of the images of Malia & Jared in the truck…how sweet is this!!

Shanni…thanks so much for stopping by the cafe today…and please don’t stay away too long…we love it when you stop by….guys, please head over to What Shanni Saw and check out more wedding inspiration from Shanni…and to Malia & Jared, we wish you a lifetime filled with joy and happiness…xoxo
