Becci shares all the info with us….’We had an absolute blast planning our wedding! With the help of Amy Hissa from At Last Event Planning in Chagrin Falls, Ohio we had the perfect wedding. From the venue, The Club at Hillbrook in Chagrin Falls to our absolutely amazing husband and wife photography team, James and Genevieve Nisly of Genevieve Nisly Photography based out of Canton, Ohio- we could not have asked for a more beautiful setting or better vendors to work with!
Jimmy and I wanted our wedding to be a ton of fun while also putting a lot of who we were into the details. My mom and I flew to Chicago to find the prefect gown which turned out to be a Rivini gown from The Ultimate Bride. My headpiece and necklace were made by the very talented Sara Gabriel. The bridal party was outfitted in black Converse Chuck Taylor’s, since Jimmy and I wear our Converse pretty much year-round. Jimmy and the groomsmen wore black pinstriped suits from MensWarehouse while the bridesmaids wore 1950’s inspired dresses from Unique Vintage out of California. I loved the bridesmaid dresses especially for the crinoline petticoat worn underneath the skirts! I found a lot of the items for our wedding on Etsy, including the flower girl dress. The unique ‘feather girl’ dress was pink tulle with an apron of white feathers tied around it.The flowers were done by my Uncle Rick Serazin from Portland, Oregon with help from Heights Floral in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. We chose pomegranate and burnt orange linens from Event Source in both a polka dot and striped pattern to go against the different table shapes of circles, squares and rectangles. Our cakes were done by the very talented White Flower Cake Shoppe in Beachwood, Ohio. We chose a very whimsical and fun cake design and also had a mountain bike grooms cake! Our invitations were done by Paper Persuasions in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, while our programs were hand decorated by my family!Jimmy’s family owns a few bicycle shops in Northeast Ohio, so naturally bicycles are a huge part of our lives. As part of my wedding gift Jimmy gave me a new cruiser bike and a pair of beautiful red cowboy boots! We chose to enter our reception riding our cruiser bikes which was so much fun! As favors to our guests we tied place cards around bottles of Jones Soda.We also set up a magnificent candy buffet for our guests to take home boxes of candy, as I am a huge candy addict. We also had a photo booth from Shutterbooth.com at the cocktail hour and reception where guests were able to take photos all night long and received photo strips to take home. And finally, The Avenue band of Jerry Bruno Productions kept the dance floor packed all night!’ |
