Alison shares a little info with us…..’Everett and Angie first met as toddlers, but didn’t get to know each other until they were teenagers. When Everett first tried to ask Angie out it wasn’t until 12 years later that she said yes. And, 4 years later that they said I do.
Everett, (a musician) proposed to Angie (a photographer) in October while on a vacation in Colorado and Utah. Everett and Angie share a unique style that includes vintage inspired hand-made items, a love of nature and a fondness for shoes! They had a very small, intimate wedding, held at the bride’s parent’s home. The gray and blue color scheme is a mixture of Angie’s love of all shades of blue, and a tribute to the couple’s last name, Gray. Angie and her mom, Joanne, did a phenomenal job creating every detail down to the crocheted napkin rings that Joanne made herself. The ceremony was held outside and the delicious dinner was served in the sun porch. To incorporate the groom’s Texas roots, the dinner had a fancy bar-b-que theme, complete with braised short ribs, mac-n-cheese, and blueberry crisps. The couple recited their own vows and danced to Peter Gabriel’s Book of Love. It was a perfect day.’ |
