Hello beautiful cafe readers….I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend…..as always, we have lots of gorgeous inspiration for you at the cafe this week….let’s kick things off with a visit from The Bride’s Cafe Crème de la Crème member, Erica of Studio 188 Photography. | Erica shares a little info with us……’Nikki & Ron celebrated their marriage with a ceremony at Irvine Park and a reception to follow within walking distance at the Science Museum in St. Paul. I love how intimate Irvine Park is, such a beautiful setting for a wedding. The bride wore a mix of lace and satin and an adorable pair of blue, ballet flats. The bridemaids wore a variety of silhouettes from dress designer Siri, purchased at Flutter Boutique. Bridesmaids were treated to personalized Lisa Lill Studio Bags. I loved the delicate touch the bride added with her late Grandmother’s ring added to her necklace. The gents went modern-daper with tuxes by Calvin Klein and footwear by Converse.
Keeping with the “Green” theme, the bride purchased flowers from a local co-op and assembled the bouquets herself. She also created all the boutineers, which included miniature bird nests with eggs, feathers and ribbon. Everything paper related was created by Marlo, sister-in-law to the bride. I loved the personal touches she added to the invites and table placement cards, actually sewing on little birds paper cut-outs! Tables were adorned with a centerpiece of green apples, a small assembled tree with a photograph of the couple at a location which matched guests’ table placement cards. All the paper is environmentally friendly and provided by French Paper in Michigan.’ The Science Museum was a great setting for the couple who live in St. Paul. Food was provided by local caterer Lancer Catering. Amazing cupcakes were provided by Buttercream. Guests danced to music provided by the amazing DJ Jake Rudh, voted Best DJ by City Pages seven years running! |
