Ribbons are the first thing that comes to mind when you think about crafts, gift wrap, and things you used to tie in your hair as a little girl… but what about weddings? Recently, different ways to use ribbons have been popping up all over the blogs and magazines. They are an inexpensive, mostly simple way to express your personality in your decor, and the opportunities to customize are endless! So as you read on, re-think those old spools of craft ribbons in your gift wrap closet and how they can inspire you to create something new.
1. Inspired by an Anthropologie floor set, a gorgeous cascade of paper ribbons creates the perfect backdrop for a rustic or empty-looking venue. Oh, yeah, and that’s a DIY made from receipt tape by the way.
