THE CAFE ‘HEARTS’ ANN MOLEN PHOTOGRAPHY
| I have a special ‘floral’ treat for you today…not only did photographer Ann Molen of Ann Molen Photography capture all the prettiness of the lovely floral in our feature today, Ann also designed and styled the shoot….now how sweet is that!….Ann purchased all the beautiful florals from Rolling Greens Nursey….the vintage tablecloth was made by her husband’s grandmother…..and all the vessels are a combination of personal containers that Ann had around her home…..Ann did an AMAZING job…such a lovely spring/summer tablescape and she even included her own wedding gown and shoes for a little extra inspiration….Enjoy!! |

| Ann shares a little info with us…..’When designing the table, I wanted to go for a vintage, yet upscale look, with an overall warm and romantic feel.
I used a palette of pastels in green, pink, peach, blue and cream. The flowers are an assortment of succulents, roses, peonies, helleborus and snap dragons. The linens and place settings, in cream and pastel blue, offset the florals. I love the look of glass and crystal as an accent because it provides an upscale look while keeping the table clean and illuminated. I also love apothecary jars and decided to place in them French Butter Pears to compliment the larger Bartlett Pears that were used as favors. The ‘wheat’ and raspberries were the final touch, as they provide a somewhat rustic element and added texture and an unexpected pop color to the table.’ |
