| I ADORE short wedding dresses….and when I received an email from the oh-so-talented and beautiful Kia Gregory of Kia Gregory Photography, wanting to share a beautiful shoot she captured with a gorgeous design from Dolly Couture, well, I had to call her up and thank her…the images are simply beautiful….let’s get right to them….Kia shares a little info about the shoot….Enjoy!!!
‘I have admired brides that incorporate a little bit of vintage style into their weddings for years now. When Nicole Scates, a sales representative from Dolly Couture, sent over a newly designed dress to photograph, I jumped at the chance to do a styled bridal shoot showcasing this gorgeous piece. Short dresses are definitely a bold statement piece and these images do it no justice. The creamy lace overlay is absolutely divine, and the blush-colored, gathered sash gives it a little more romance. I also had the fortune of having a bird cage veil created by Etsy seller, He Knows My Name, on hand to finish off this classic look. Shooting this dress in an old neighborhood with houses built in the 50s couldn’t have been more perfect, right?’ |
