| TBC: What should a bride look for when choosing her cake designer? Evan: Just like all your wedding day vendors, it’s important to feel comfortable with your cake designer and find someone who understands you and your vision- it is your wedding cake after all! |

TBC: What was the biggest challenge of getting your shop off the ground? Evan: Before I started the shop I found myself in a job where I wasn’t happy- I dreaded going to work and sitting in front of a computer all day. I think the biggest challenge was just believing enough in myself and my skills, trusting the process and just doing it. |

| TBC: What’s your favorite part/moment about creating a wedding cake?
Evan: I really enjoy the whole process of creating a wedding cake, starting with the initial consultation I have with a bride and discussing everything about her wedding and the cake. But I think my favorite part is the moment when all the drawings, ideas, cake and frosting actually becomes the cake. |
