Happy Friday Guys….what’s happening for the weekend….let’s start it off with a beautiful vintage love shoot sent over by the dynamic duo, wife and husband team and AMAZING photographers, Natalie and Parker of Natalie Bray Photography! They are the sweetest couple and their work is AWESOME….Natalie sent over an email telling me all about this shoot with Erika & Tommy and I’m so glad she did…..the images are all so beautiful and I’m so happy to share them with you today…..Erika & Tommy are so cute….I love all the details surrounding their shoot…especially the cake!!…….let’s check out all the fun…Enjoy!!

Natalie shares a little info with us….’Erika and Tommy’s love is truly contagious! My husband and I left grinning from ear to ear. I cannot say enough about their sincere kindness towards each other. Tommy is the epitome of chivalry…how great is it when a guy opens the door for you, cooks you dinner, and cleans?

Tommy and Erika met in college through mutual friends and their love grew and now…they are inseparable! We chose details that complimented their love of vintage cameras, records, and nature. So we headed off to Marian Bear Natural Park and had soooo much fun! I hope that comes across in the photos because they were incredibly joyful, not just happy, but true soul mates.

We chose a simple polka dotted J Crew dress for Erika, which she loved to swing around in and Tommy wore a vintage cardigan, plaid button down, and bow tie to complete the look.  We baked a 3 layer lemon and cream cheese frosting cake to be their wedding cake. They like handmade items, so we liked the thought of a simple, but delicious cake. They didn’t want all the frills, but wanted their love to show through among a few of their favorite things.

We also handmade the ‘true love’ banner and music notes, which tied the theme together. Tommy loves his record collection and whenever he gets a new album he slowly unwraps it, careful not to damage the packaging, then he listens and reads the words beginning to end. Erika said he’s like a kid on Christmas. That is why we incorporated the records in the shoot, to show their patience and plus it’s cool :).’

Natalie and Parker, thank you both SO much for stopping by the cafe today…we adore your work and we look forward to your next visit….guys, please head over to Natalie Bray Photograhphy’s blog site to see what Nataie and Parker have been up to!
